instead of a New Year’s Resolution, because how the fuck am I supposed to stick to a resolution for 12 whole months? that’s stupid.
meet all of my professors next semester, right off the bat. first class, go up and say hi. stay after class/go to office hours a few times until they know my name. maintain a relationship with them.

some reflections for 2011
this was a really great year. it’s been one huge transition, and sometimes it was pretty awful but overall? it was great. I feel like I know myself so much better—after getting out of high school, after one of my last summers at camp, and after learning so much at college— I feel much safer and have a more concrete idea of who I am and where I’d like to go with my life.
